Introduction A Cartesian Plane is a plane consisting of a set of two lines intersecting each other at right angles. The horizontal line is the X-axis and the vertical one is the Y-axis, and the point of their intersection is called the origin with the coordinates (0, 0). The definition of coordinate geometry is the study of algebraic equations on graphs. An example of coordinate geometry is plotting points, lines and curves on an x and y axis.

Linear EquationsLinear equations are when the points all line up into a straight line. That means a non-linear equation is when the point all line up to for a curve.In questions 1&2 the equations are linear equation and in question 3 the equations are both non-linear equations.
